It’s almost here: Our 2nd annual Engagement Excellence Summit. On February 13th, we’ll be welcoming in hundreds of HR leaders to The Brewery to immerse them in a full day of learning new, innovative ways to engage their people.
While we’re thrilled to welcome more than a dozen speakers who will be sharing their insight throughout the day, I’m especially excited about our keynote speakers.
Here’s a look at who will take the “stage” on the big day:
Margaret Heffernan
Entrepreneur, Chief Executive and Author
I was first introduced to Margaret Heffernan when our former CEO Glenn Elliott started stocking her book, “Beyond Measure,” in our office libraries. Her views on social capital, especially when it comes to the workplace, are worth a read. She’s authored five books on business and continues to write for the “Financial Times” and the “Huffington Post.” We’re looking forward to her keynote on intrinsic rewards, motivation and the relationships we form at work.
Bruce Daisley
Former VP EMEA at Twitter, Author and Podcast Host
As the host of the “Eat, Sleep, Work, Repeat” podcast, Bruce Daisley interviews psychologists, neuroscientists and workplace experts to understand how we can improve our jobs. The former VP EMEA at Twitter recently stepped away from his job to focus on new ventures and passions. Last year, Bruce wrote “The Joy of Work,” which focusses on how to “fix” your work culture and fall in love with your job with 30 seemingly simple changes.
Katy Emck
Founding Director at Fine Cell Work
As the Founding Director at Fine Cell Work, Katy works with her team to give prisoners an opportunity to learn life skills while in prison, training them in creative needlework which is then available to buy. The organisation also works with prisoners once they are finished with their sentence through the “Open the Gate” programme, providing work experience formal training and employment. Her keynote will explore intrinsic motivation and how it connects to a rewarding experience at work.
We'll also be welcoming our own SVP of Global Sales, Kylie Green and Head of Product Sevil Rahimova, who will reveal some exciting product news and share a fresh approach to overcoming challenges that may be holding changemakers back from making the biggest impact in 2020.
