Last week I had the pleasure of attending the HR Technology Conference in Las Vegas with the rest of my team. We chatted with many forward-thinking HR professionals and leaders, shared employee engagement best practices and gained key insights from industry thought leader Josh Bersin at our very own booth. Here's an overview video of our time at HR Tech:
As we enter the last couple of months of 2019, I’m already thinking about goals for 2020 and how we can continue making the world a better place to work. And we’re not alone. Several attendees stopped by our booth at HR Tech to vote on their own employee engagement goals as well. Here are the top priorities, in this order:
1. Employee retention |
2. Employee communications |
3. Employee recognition |
4. Aligning employees with mission and values |
Organizations are continually challenged to find new ways to improve employee engagement. By leveraging an employee experience platform and embracing strategic recognition and communications, employers can begin to improve employee retention and attract top talent. Additionally, these tools can help shine a much-needed spotlight on a company’s purpose, mission and values to keep everyone marching to the same beat.
In a new research report from Josh Bersin, he outlines how companies use strategic employee engagement, recognition and communications to drive business results (including improving employee retention), using real-life examples from Reward Gateway clients. He also highlights the new Strategic Recognition Maturity Model, so you can learn where your company falls as you map out your goals.
