How Reward Gateway | Edenred is celebrating Employee Appreciation Day

It's almost time for Employee Appreciation Day!

Here at Reward Gateway | Edenred, we celebrate for a week each March with our Thank You Festival. In the past, we have tuned into an online concert, broken our own record for recognition in one day, and last year rolled out a refreshed recognition program involving employee-led rewards. This year, the Thank You Festival will be all about appreciation in its many forms – recognizing who our employees are, not just what they do. 

Across our global offices, we’ll be focusing on five core themes that honor employees’ mind, body, impact, journey and growth.

The five themes for the week

🌿 Appreciating Your Mind: Gratitude & Reflection

To support appreciation and mental wellbeing, our offices will be hosting webinars on gratitude, sharing messages of thanks formally online for all to see, and beginning our wellbeing challenge using our very own Wellbeing+ app.

💆 Appreciating Your Body: Wellness & Nourishment

To continue the fun, Tuesday will be about physical wellbeing featuring the (always popular) office massages, yoga & movement sessions and delicious, healthy treats for all employees that appear in-person to one of our global offices.

🌍 Appreciating Your Impact: Giving Back & Community

The middle of the week will be about social and community wellbeing with volunteer opportunities near local offices, donation drives that all employees can participate in and spotlighted stories of how employees have given back all throughout the year to make our hearts happy.

✨ Appreciating Your Journey: Belonging & Connection

Thursday’s focus on connection and belonging is highlighted by Belonging Bingo to spark conversations between colleagues, a Cultural Food Festival in our London office to celebrate the flavors of the world and the diversity of our workforce, and finally a focus on our Employee Resource Groups - called EP!C Networks.

🎉 Appreciating Your Growth: Celebrating the Moments that Matter

The week will come to a close as focus on a new addition to our Appreci8 recognition program – Moments that Matter recognitions. Our employees will get to use the new features – in addition to all our regular eCards, Award and Nominations – and will be encouraged to use our Social Media Toolkit to share thanks across their entire network!

Life moments eCards are meant to highlight big events like the birth of a child or a family bereavement; Growth is a way to celebrate learning and development milestones; Evolving You provides us a way to thank those that support ESG or CSR; On the Move allows teams to celebrate house or country moves; Moments that Matter allow for flexibility to highlight all the other moments in employees’ lives.

Bringing it all together

By celebrating appreciation in all its forms, the Thank You Festival will serve as a reminder to Reward Gateway | Edenred employees that it’s not just about what we do – it’s about who we are that makes us truly special.
