Dear Santa,
All the staff in my company want end-of-year fun,
But I work in HR and I’ve had a rough run.
COVID-19 keeps ruining our plans –
Do I throw a big party with the risk it gets banned?
My people are feeling uncertain and tired –
I need your assistance so they feel inspired.
I want them to thrive in this new world of work,
But my budget is tight and COVID’s a jerk.
Could you make something fun that helps brighten their day?
That rewards their hard work and increases their pay?
That builds up their confidence and sense of connection,
and gives them support and helps set their direction?
It’d need to be COVID-proof (Elves, please take note!)
So online and accessible, in case we all go remote.
Something that’s easy to set up and view,
And, while we’re at it, does my admin work too?
Something that helps me to hire the best,
And helps boost retention, so I can stress less!
I know all of this is quite a big ask,
But you're Santa, so I knew you’d be up for the task!
